James F. Kimmons Sr., senior partner of Kimmons, Harmon & Co., P.C., CPAs, completed a month-long series of lectures to eight different audiences throughout Georgia on the subject of electronic filing of federal income tax returns.
The lectures were presented at various colleges and universities, including Mercer University in Atlanta, as an integral part of "Income Tax Clinics, Inc., " sponsored by Dr. Earl F. Davis, professor of accounting at the University of Georgia.
Kimmons was accompanied by representatives from the Internal Revenue Service Electronic Filing Coordinator's office and Mike Witherspoon of the A-Plus Tax Division of Arthur Andersen & Co.
